UNLV Science, Engineering & Technology Building

The Science, Engineering & Technology Building, located on the north end of the UNLV campus, serves as the anchor to a future quad of science buildings. The facility and its instrumentation constitute an interactive environment designed to encourage collaborative research in science and engineering. Since the future of science and engineering research is unpredictable, this building is equipped with dynamically allocated space that can easily be converted from one use to another, ensuring that today’s “wet” labs can readily become the “dry” labs of tomorrow.  The facility received LEED Silver Certification and is expected to achieve 32% energy savings and 42% water savings beyond similar buildings of this type.
