Calvary Chapel, Albuquerque, NM

The master plan for Calvary Chapel creates a religious campus to serve the modern needs of a growing congregation. Kids can jam to music from the church’s radio stations while playing in one of the active recreation spaces – skate park, sand volleyball court and basketball court. These joyful, noisy spaces are strategically located adjacent to the high school and middle school buildings, but away from the main plaza and entrance where some of the more contemplative spaces such as the sanctuary, baptismal fountain and bookstore/coffee shop are located. The plan’s components reflect the church’s commitment to serving all ages and providing a variety of opportunities for outdoor celebrations, education and worship.
