Located on 15 acres, this single-story building was designed to accommodate over 600 telephone service representatives with support functions including training rooms, conference rooms, administrative offices, restrooms and locker rooms, a break room and quiet rooms. With a state-of-the-art telecom/network center the information systems management and processing equipment were an integral part of the design.
The building exterior color palette reflects the southwest setting with accent colors at the corners and main entry. The use of windows with sun shades and insulated glass promotes exterior views and introduces natural light into the facility while maintaining desirable sun control. The site has over 600 parking spaces and a service and delivery area, and utilizes regional plant materials to provide a low maintenance installation.
As a Design/Build concept with Reid & Associates, the design, documentation and construction of the building was on a fast-track schedule and was completed in six months from beginning of design to completion of construction.
