In collaboration with ZPD+A architects out of Chicago, D/P/S focused on developing a healthy work environment for its employees, BCBS’s goals included the desire for a sustainable design approach. With natural day lighting, flexibility of office layouts, and power and data distribution systems among the major design considerations, the building is designed to take advantage of its prominent, highly visible location along the interstate and dramatic views of the Sandia Mountains to the east.
